Phenomenal Touch® Massage
Unique integrative massage where you feel held, cradled, rocked and stretched
Phenomenal Touch Massage (PTM) creates itself—organically unfolding, unwinding, swirling and undulating the body in a 3-dimensional water like dance. Fluidly moving the body in space while massaging both sides at once, the contact is slow, deep and specific making everything count. The practitioner enters and melts the muscle in the shortened position while working with gravity to create the perfect pressure and depth. The intuitive variations of rhythm and speed coupled with quiet pauses allow the practitioner and client to drop in and give the body time to catch up. Utilizing fulcrums to lift the body creates a sensation of levitation. Seamlessly transitioning, revisiting and weaving one move into the next brings a feeling of space, integration and wholeness.
Ashiatsu (Barefoot Massage with Oil)
The deepest therapeutic massage with foot pressure
Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy (AOBT) is a technique that utilizes bars installed on the ceiling and dance-like movements using the feet to massage the body. The term Ashiatsu comes from the words “ashi” for foot and “atsu” for pressure. This specialized form of effleurage bodywork done with the feet is popular among athletes and bodybuilders who demand deep work. Yet the Western technique with Asian roots is deeply relaxing and stress-relieving for all different body types, large or small. To practice AOBT, the therapist must be able to hold herself up with hands by her ears for 20 seconds and weight no more than 150 lbs.
